I would like to see another explaination added. I am reading more and more posts that talk about a player being 12/5, 33/22, etc. What are those numbers?

This is a "Poker Tracker" term. 12/5 = 12% voluntry in put money in preflop & raise 5% preflop.... I would like to know what "HUD" is?? Heads up Display?? |

Could you post a link to the thread in question and i'll see if i can figure out what that particular person meant throuh deductive reasoning. I've never seen WR used where the W stood for wagering. http://www.poker-software.com/poker/poker_acronyms.asp |

I believe that the WR you are asking about is "wagering requirement" Usually associated with online casino bonus whoring.
A 20x WR for a $100 bonus means you would have to wager $2000 to release the bonus. (20*100=2000) If you are casino whoring be sure to ALWAYS read the T&C (terms and conditions) before you play. Some of them have been known to be very shady. -------------------- It's great to be a Hawkeye!

Abbreviations and acronyms have become a mainstay in todays online poker environment. Throughout online poker forums and poker site chat boxes, you can find players who use online jargon to create shortcuts in speech.

Thanks for this post. I have made reference to it many times. I actually recommend newbies print it off.
