This is a "Poker Tracker" term. 12/5 = 12% voluntry in put money in preflop & raise 5% preflop.... I would like to know what "HUD" is?? Heads up Display??

Nice try, but doesn't seem right, frankly speaking. As far as I got the "W" has something to do with Wagering, but where the "R" comes from remains a great mystery to me smile.gif

I wasn't "trying". WR means win rate. Could you post a link to the thread in question and i'll see if i can figure out what that particular person meant throuh deductive reasoning. I've never seen WR used where the W stood for wagering.

I believe that the WR you are asking about is "wagering requirement" Usually associated with online casino bonus whoring.

A 20x WR for a $100 bonus means you would have to wager $2000 to release the bonus. (20*100=2000)

If you are casino whoring be sure to ALWAYS read the T&C (terms and conditions) before you play. Some of them have been known to be very shady.

Bingo.. that's exactly what they meant I guess... At least, there it was 20x WR smile.gif I wasn't exactly bonus whoring, just trying to get what this whole stuff meant.
I am not too willing to post a link to another poker forum. Not sure the moderator is gonna like that smile.gif
Anyhow, thanks a lot.

Abbreviations and acronyms have become a mainstay in today’s online poker environment. Throughout online poker forums and poker site chat boxes, you can find players who use online jargon to create shortcuts in speech.

Thanks for this post. I have made reference to it many times. I actually recommend newbies print it off.
