| Thought I would share this. When it happened the dealer had tears in his eyes from trying not to laugh and I had to leave table. Incoherent, very surly, old tourist with some poker knowledge but so obvious that anyone paying attention knew where he was at every hand. Just as a prelude he and I played a hand a few minutes earlier and he had been very aggressive with me when he was on a club draw and I was on a straight draw. We both missed and I was going to probably check the river but he said he can't beat me so I bet:). This will be important. Now the hand in question. He limps in early position with k9 clubs. Two callers then sb raises. Our hero reraises and 4 people see the flop. Flop is two clubs 9 hi. Checked to button who bets, SB raises, hero reraises, those 3 get to turn. Turn is blank, hero bets, 2 callers. River is a 9, hero bets trips, button calls. SB huddles for a bit, calls and shows his hand, 1010. Hero shows his hand to me and I nod my head like nh. Now hero says I missed my clubs again and says to SB I can't beat you. I realize I should keep my mouth shut cuz this guy is going to muck his hand, he doesn't know he made a set he was concentrating on the flush draw so hard! The SB asks him what he has so instead of mucking he throws his cards face up quite obnoxiously as has been his wont all evening and says see! The SB says nh. At this point the hero thinks he lost and only the dealer and I realize this. Before the dealer pushes him the pot I tell the hero in a friendly conversational manner (as has my tone been all night), that we have a special rule at our casino that when you lose a big pot as a coutesy you must stack your opponent's chips for him. Now the dealer pushes him the pot. He is mad cuz he thinks he is stacking the other player's chips so he pushes the pot to the small blind and says he can stack his own damn chips. The chips lay there for a couple hands before hero finally asked SB why the chips were just laying between then and the SB told him he won with trips. | ||

| ROTFLMAO! I've seen some pretty funny stuff at the tables, and this matches the best of them. Great story. -Moz "Ya know I... didn't even know I had a hand!" | ||
