What is the proper way to play AA in a NL SgG. Raise first or just go all in?

there is no "proper" way to play any hand. With AA, i sometimes call the BB, put a small raise in, put a big raise in, and go allin. It all depends on the situation.; If you can be more specific, ie: position, chip stack, opponents, how many players left, etc.........we can give you an answer as to how each of us would play it. But there is no "proper" way. Every individual plays different.

Whatever it takes to win the hand and maximize the amount, or to lose the hand and minimize the amount.

What is the optimal number of pre-flop callers for someone with an AA in a NL SNG? Obviously, if no-one calls, you win the miniscule pre-flop pot. If everyone calls, you will likely get sucked dry.

I'd roughly say 2. If just one caller, they could miss the flop completely, 2 is more likely someone will stay around some.
