| Hello. First off, I think this site is incredible and has helped my poker game tremendously. I have been playing for several years, but mostly for small $10 games with my friends. I am interested in getting started playing .25/.50 games online with a $20 bankroll to see how I will do. Now, I don't have a credit card, can I still qualify for neteller? What sort of costs should I expect? I play pokerstars freeroll and like the quality of opponents (and lack thereof) as well as their structure and amount of games. Do other sites offer higher incentives? In short : Need credit card for neteller (can I do just direct deposit and how?)? best poker site to play at? Thank you in advance! -Zachary Young. | ||

| You do not need a credit card to use Neteller. You can use EFT with Neteller to directly transfer funds to/from your checking account. It is easy to set up, especially if you have online banking so you can check your statement daily. It is probably best if you open up a seperate checking account for just this purpose. Once you have established you account, you can either tranfer funds to Neteller for free if you are willing to wait 4 - 5 *business* days or can get them immediately if you wish to pay a 9% service charge. Transferring funds from Neteller back to your checking account is easy, but still takes 3 - 4 days. Neteller is apparently working a float to avoid charging fees on all transactions. | ||

| Thank you for the very speedy reply. The fact a question can get answerd in detail in under five minutes is just great : ) My girlfriend has online banking so I will likely just give her money for her to transfer funds to a poker account. Why should I set up an extra chequing account? Thanks agin. | ||

| There are various reasons why one would find it more comfortable to allow an outside agency to be able to directly add and subtract funds from a dedicated account. Personally, I would exercise a little discretion/patience and not use someone else's account. | ||

| A valid point... you get in the habit of interwoven finances after a while. I'll just get her to help me set up online banking of my own. Thank you, I think this cleared a few things up for me. Good luck. | ||

| Can't you only get the amount of money you originally put into your account transferred back to your Netteller account? I put in something like 250 bucks and I have 500 now. If I wanted to cash out all of it, would they send me a check for the other 250? | ||

| Do you mean the other 250$ would have to be sent to you by cheque? Or that you can only possibly come out even? (ha ha would be nice for the casino if it worked that way but I doubt it). | ||
