I play primarily NL Sng's on Paradise Poker at the 10+1 level. I find this game to be fairly soft and beatable. Looking for a new site in order to cash in on signup bonuses etc. Any thoughts on where i should throw my money, esp in relation to your opinions on the play level in comparison to Paradise? Also, how do you find the level of play differs between 10+1 and 20+2 tourneys? Thanks in advance!

I normally play SnGs on Party. I needed some raked hands for the party millions so I started playing NL ring games. Also I needed to play some raked hands on Empire to release my bonus.

I found that releasing bonus is pretty easy on Party/Empire. If you sit at a $25 NL ring game, the pot is raked at only $2 and that is almost every hand. By playing tight and aggressive I have made a nice profit and gotten a ton of raked hands.

Bugsyclub has a very different SnG structure than Party. You start with 10,000 chips and after level 5 you start to ante. I enjoy their NL ring game very much. Their bonus is harder to release compared to Party. NL games you need a $1 rake for bonus credit and that happens only when the pot is $20+. At 1/2 NL a $20+ pot is pretty common, but smaller NL tables it is not common to see a $20 pot. If you play limit, you only need a $10 pot.

I also like the cheap tourneys on Bugsy. They have $1 Round 1 WSOP tourney. They also start at 10,000 in chips and are very fun.

If you are interested in bonus codes for Party or Empire or Bugsy, try these: They give you 20% deposit bonus up to $100.

Thanks for the tips. Question, does Party or Empire release bonus dollars through SnG play at all, or do you HAVE to play ring games with rakes
thanks!

On Party, you have to play raked hands to release the bonus... (I assume Empire is the same). SnGs and tourneys don't count. I did find it VERY easy to get that bonus released though..... about 2 hours on a $.5/$1 table and I had an extra real $20 to play with.

Party and Empire only count raked hands toward releasing your bonus, so SnGs do not count.

If you play the $25 NL ring games like a SnG you can easily release your bonus. Buy in for $10. Only play premium hands. Bluffing at a pot rarely works. I have seen people call all ins or large bets with just about every thing. I had 2 people call my $9.25 all in when I had AA. One had KJh and the other mucked.

About 2 months ago I joined Party and think they have really good sign up bonuses. Im not sure about other sites but they also have the Refer-A-Friend Bonus which if you refer a friend to the website you can receive 50
$ and your friend will receive 25$. There are some other codes in the links for you below such as the 20% and 25$ intial bonuses. Just like the others have responded you can only use these in raked games to have them released.

Another thing. Supposidly UB and PartyPoker are the best sites for security purposes as well as easy cash outs.

FWIW -
I think Paradise will count SnG's for bonuses.

I like PokerStars over PartyPoker for SNG. Party Poker is much more of a crapshoot with only 800 chips and the blinds going up rapidly.

PokerStars doesn't seem to have any signup $ bonuses although periodically they do have deposit bonuses which SNG do count.

I also hear bugsy and paradise count SNG although I haven't played their games

At Bugsy's you get points for and SNG, or Tourny that you pay a "rake" for. Also someone pointed out that the points are harder to get to release the bonus, but you can also "sell" your points back for CASH. They also have tourny's that only cost points to play, one I know of is a 50+5 points, the payout is in points.

A good class of players there, not a whole lot of fish. If you don't count the $1 WSOP tourny's where people will go all-in in the first 10 Min. with PP 5's and worse. I asked one guy what he was thinking and he said "it's only a dollar".
