Is there a consensus on breaking a tie in holdem' On WSOP it seems to be 5 cards only, but at P-Room it appears they look at the 6th card to break a tie. What gives?

A 6th card never comes into play as a tiebreaker in ring or tourney games, period. If there's a poker room out there doing this they're doing it wrong.

The extra chip from a split pot (which is what I assume you're referring to when you say tiebreaker) typically goes to the player closer to the button, and in some cases I've seen it go to the higher ranked suit.

There is no tie-breaking in Texas Holdem...each player plays their best five cards...if two players produce equal hands - the pot is split - period...

I am not familiar with "P-Room" - and its entirely possible they have created a game based on THE where a sixth card would break a tie - but it isn't the accepted form of the game...
