Situation 1: $100 SnG 5 handed blinds 150/300. Am chipleader with 2800 chips.

I'm one off the button, UTG goes all in for 2350, player after him calls for 2300. I'm looking at cowboys. Positive I have the UTG player beat since no one does that with rockets, but next player COULD have them (still not likely) But regardless someone has an ace, but if both do I'm a huge favorite, and that's a strong possibility, and 2 people are all in. If I call and lose I still will have about 500 chips.

Figuring I was the favorite, and I'd have 7800 chips if I won, plus strong chance of winning if I did win, I push in, UTG had A9 2nd player I'm not sure but mighta had AJ, and a 10 high board comes and I take it down (to finish 2nd)

Situation 2: $50 SnG Level 1 blinds 10/15 I have rockets in EP everyone has about 1k chips still, I raise to 75, get SIX callers (I think its christmas time and people are playing with newly gifted money) including the BB, I'm second to act.

Flop Q 10 7 rainbow. pot 450, BB leads out for 125. I figure I can't fold the rockets, eventhough against 6 others I could very easily be beat right now, but if I push I'm almost certain to get a caller, and it could very likely be with just a Q, and I can't just call his 125, so I push, guy after me calls , everyone else folds. He had KJo and hit his 9, so I was out.

Comments on my play on either of these situations?
