| I have been playing 20/40 holdem on-line for years but only at Planet Poker. I think PP is great their cash-outs get processed promptly and their live telephone customer service is great. However, just for variety I am considering opening up another account either PokerStars or Party. My questions are this. 1. In high limit holdem (15/30 +) which of these sites (Stars or Party) has the weaker players? 2. Are Stars & Party reliable when it comes to cashing out? 3. If someone has plays high limit at Planet Poker and either Stars or Party can you give me a comparison since I only know from Planet Poker. 4. Are there any sites you would recommend other than Party or Stars that are reliable with cash-outs, good customer service and comparatively weak players in high limit holdem. Thanks | ||

| Party very recently added 30/60 to the lineup. I usually see 2 tables going at this limit. LOTS of action at 15/30. If the 30/60 game is anything like the 15/30 then you would probably call them "loose". If my friends who play at 15/30 are any indication of typical, you'll have it made. I have always found Party to be very good on cashouts, usually 8 hrs or less now to Neteller, and you will appreciate the 24/7 phone help if needed. Jim | ||

| Party has the weakest and worst 15-30 players of the bunch, and they're aggressive to boot!! Though their new $30-60 limit is not nearly as fishy as the $15-30 limits are, but I still haven't come across anything spectacular as far as the caliber of play in that limit either, so . The negative side to their $30-60 game is, even when they have two tables going there's always an extremely long waiting list, like 65+ players waiting, and you can actually wait for hours until your seat is available. cashouts and such, no problem. I've never played on Planet Poker so I can't give you a comparison. Flakes | ||

| I have been playing alot of NL on partypoker and empirepoker recently. I normally play SnGs but needed to get some raked hands to release some bonus money. I am amazed at the number of loose players. I expect this kind of play on low limit tables but to see 1 or 2 players call large all in bets preflop with crazy hands is mind boggling. 3 card flushes on the board are ignored. Even str8s. Some players play any 2 suited cards. I also found the bugsysclub has some profitable NL games. I have repeatedly sat down at their 1/2 NL table and turned $40 to $100-200. I have had some loosing sessions too but overall they are very profitable. Only problem with bugsy is you don't always find a full table. But some of my best sessions have been with 4 players. One of the things I have noticed about bugsy is that alot of the players there are playing for the site's league rankings. They only get league ponts if the see the flop. So they often play marginal hands. A bet on the flop usually wins the pot. If you are interested in bonus codes for Party or Empire or Bugsy, try these: They give you 20% deposit bonus up to $100. Party GIVEBONUS Empire EP0348 (the 0 is a zero not a letter O) or http://www.empirepoker.com/index20100.htm?wm=1703148 Bugsy http://www.bugsysclub.com/club/register/bcregister.htm?aid=81524 | ||

| Hi Doc. Appreciate the time you took to respond. Bugsy is one I never heard of before and is Empire and Party the same place? If it is I heard you can't play at both sites - you need to choose one or the other. Is that true? on 29. | They are the same site. The only thing that is different is the multi table tourneys. You can sign up on both but you can't use the same username. I have an account on each site and never had a problem. Best thing I like about them is how easy it is to get your bonus released. You only have to play 5 raked hands per $1 bonus, compared to 10 raked hands at other sites. And a rake of $0.10 counts as a raked hand, compared to other sites where $1 or $0.50 counts as a rake. I sat at a $25 NL table and was getting 8-9 raked hands for every $0.75 I paid in blinds. But the NL games are so soft I actually made more at the tables than I had in bonus. Bugsy usually has about 1000 people on it. Ring games die down some when a WSOP qualifier is running. But as people drop out, the ring games pick up. Plus you see the same people there all the time. They are hard core for their league rankings. Good customer service too. I had a problem with Firepay there. Only allowed a $200 max deposit. They allowed me to make multiple deposits and I got credit for each deposit toward my bonus money. | ||
