50$ SnG on PP down to 3 players. I have ~5500 my opponents a bit more than 2000 each. I am just curious what the odds are on a player not only having an ace but a higher kicker no matter what Ax you hold 6 consecutive hands. The story goes like this, Blinds 100/200 I am Button 3 handed, dealt AQs raise to 500, am called by SB. Flop is A89 Rainbow. Blind checks I bet 750 blind moves in I call, turn river blanks, AK wins over my AQ. The very next hand, I have A10 in BB, button calls, i raise to 500, button calls. Flop is AJ3 rainbow. I bet 500 button calls. turn is 10 I bet 1000, button moves in, I call, shown AJ over my A10. Needless to say this happened 6 consecutive hands in a row. My Ax beaten by opp higher Ax. Eventually eliminated on AK on button to AA in SB. Just wondering what the odds are on your opponent having a higher kicker on 6 consecutive hands where u hold an ace......

I may be wrong here, but I believe what you described is impossible. The first hand you were the button and your opponent was the SB. At one point he went all in and won which means you doubled him up. He now has more chips than you. The second hand you were the BB and if your opponent was the button as you stated, he is the same opponent. So if he moves in on the turn, he has to have put you all in. So when he beat you, you are out. How did this happen 4 more hands when you are out?

1st hand I had 5500 she has 2100 there were 2 hands in between which I won for ~1500 combined both hands which she was not involved in. I was saying the next hand we were involved in. On the second hand she had ~3500 to my ~4800. The hands continued with mostly blinds folding to raises and no hands continued after the flop. But 6 consecutive hands which went to showdown were Ax vs Ax and all 6 I was the dog, regardless of how high my kicker.

Basically, what are the odds in a 3 handed game of 6 hands where you hold an ace, you opp also holding an ace, and having you outkicked on each hand regardless of you other hole card.

It depends on what kicker you have. If the only stipulation is that you both have aces with some random kicker, then it's 50/50 that you are ahead, assuming no ties. If you want this to happen 6 hands in a row, it's roughly 1.6%.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. These were not 6 hands in a row, but the last 6 times you had an ace. Wow, thats bad luck.
