What is "Freezeout", CodyHartman, 23. Dec 2003 12:14

I was looking at a schedule for Vegas tournies and I came across the word Freezeout. I probably know what it means but have never heard it called that before. So what is it? What does it mean? I also noticed that none of the games where No Limit, they were all Hold Em Freezeout. Does this mean it is limited to Limit only?

Thanks,
Cody

Cody,

A freezeout is a 'no re-buy' no 'add-on' tournament. And yes, if it didn't say NL then it is a safe bet that they are talking limit.

Well that is WAY TOO EASY. Why do they even have to use the term "Freezeout," it makes it sound likeit is a different way to play.

Thank you Angel very much for clarifying this easy on for me.

Cody
