| NL Tournament 200+15 at UB. I have 78s in mid position I double the blinds to 40 hoping to hide my hand a little, purpose of this hand is to hit a big hand. One player calls behind me and the two blinds call. Flop comes 6 9 T Rainbow, dream flop. I bet the minimum trying to show weakness and want someone to come over the top in a steal attempt. The guy behind me folds and the two blinds fold. The turn is a J. Kind of a scary card, did I let him draw to his gutshot for cheap? No, problem I will bet an amount where he is forced to raise if he had KQ. I bet 400 he quickly calls. Is he slowplaying KQ? Turn is another J. I check not knowing what he has and he bets 1500. I call (too quickly, which is my weakness) and he turns over TT for a boat. Could I have got away from this hand? Did I misplay it. My thinking is that a larger bet on the flop is necessary. But then I lose much of my chances of doubling up which was my goal here. Your thoughts please. | ||

| you were gonna lose alot of chips on this hand. Even if you didnt slow play the flop, he was not gonna let go of his flopped top set. Thats poker. nothing you can do about that one. | ||

| i agree... nothing you could do... you flopped the nuts... he flopped top set.. hes not going anywhere... and neither are you.. im surprised he didnt raise you on the flop... it was good for you... you lost as little as possible... did the 1500 pot you all in?? im guessing that it didnt. | ||
