| So I thought to ease my pain a little bit I'd share the story of my week in Party Poker SNG's. 4th place is the name of the game. 7 times in a row that is. Normally if I come in 4th I kick myself for making some stupid play when I could have just easily made it to the money but not this week. It seems like everytime I get to the fnal 4 this week I always have the second lowest chipstack and then to make matters worse the big stack just throws his money to the other 2 guys so that they all average out nicely and im stuck with like 800 chips or something. And then obviously, I can't get any cards to save my life. This next part should probabally go in the bad beats section but I'll just post my most recent 4th place bust out here. So it's the final 4 again, for the 7th time, this time im feeling pretty good about it, everyone has about 2000 chips each so I'm thinking getting 1st or 2nd is in order here with any help at all from the deck. In the big blind I get dealt JJ, UTG raises to 400(minimum raise), other two fold. I'm thinking I should raise but this is the type of guy if you reraise he is gonna go all in and put you to a decision, so I call, hoping for a set or at least nothing higher than a Jack on the board, what i get is 10c Jc 5d, alright great, got my set. I bet out 500, other guy reraises all in, naturally, I'm calling here. Turn, 6d, River Kc. Other player shows up AQc for, yes, thats right, his rivered royal flush. Good times. | ||
