| Long time reader first time posting. This is a great site lots of info love it. So here is my first question: I just relocated to California a month ago from Laughlin NV, And I must say the style of play is very different. I went to Hawaiian Gardens for the first time and wow that's a whole lot of card tables. Is the play at cali cardrooms as loose as this place was, lots of maniacs. It didn't matter if they were the little or big blind, or the button they tended to play any hold cards so reading hands became very difficult. How do you deal with this style of play? I consider myself a tight aggressive player and did very well in the first couple of hours, doubling my investment. Then a table change(the one I was on broke up) and ended up giving most of it back in just a few hands. I know the smart play would have been to leave but you know how the greed monster is. Any tips would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance James. | ||

| Hi, James. Where did you play? The Belle? We just relocated to the Kingman area and I've been playing at the Belle for the last four months. Do I know you? Felicia :) My Poker Journal: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FeliciaLee | ||

| Yep! That was me! I think I was stuck that night, and I always get in a jokey mood when I'm stuck. Were you the guy who offered to introduce me to the cowboy? If so, I thought you were a tourist. Shows you what I know! I've written quite a bit about the Riverside. I don't really like playing there. I was there the night that the guy in the one seat punched the dealer in the jaw. They wouldn't even call security! After that, the Riverside was all downhill for me. Felicia :) <<on 20.
