| I've been playing partypoker.com for over a year now with good results playing 25-50NL games. I just started playing single table tournaments with good results, in the top 3 80-90% of the time. I recently won entry to Sundays 200k tournament. I've only played 1 other large tournament and was out midpack. Blinds rise very fast in these tournaments. What strategy should I take to the table on Sunday. In single table tournaments I usually lets the weak get flushed out and only play solid till it gets down to 5 or so and start playing aggressive. It will not have that option in this big tourny. Any advice will be appreciated..thanks in advance | ||

| Sorry I can't answer your question but, 80-90% win rate in SNGs..... WOW!!!! You are a SNG prodigy!!!! Please tell us your secret as I would love to get some pointers on how to increase my top three ratio. | ||

| You're either a PartyPoker tournament superman or you've been lucky. 80-90% is ridiculously high with the crummy structure of PartyPoker single-table tournaments. Be careful about drawing any conclusions until you've played in a couple hundred of them. Like you said, you can't wait for the other 2,000 players to bust themselves out in the big tournaments so you'll just have to get involved in some hands. That's all there is to it. Go in with your good starting cards and try to squeeze value out of small pairs and suited connectors when you can. It's important not to end up with only 1,000 chips left when the weak players start dropping out. SpaceAce | ||
