| I'm going to be in Dallas over New Years and we are planing a poker trip to Shreveport. My buddies play 10/20, but have told me a solid player can clean up on the 4/8. The say alot of people from Dallas show up with alot of money anf little skill. Anybody ever play over there? Erik | ||

| No skill, just look for the regulars, they'll be chatting with each other. If they're lumped together, the other tables will be softer....my experience only. on 18. | I've played there three times, you talking about the Hollywood Casino in Bossier City, right? It's a pretty easy game to beat. I won $750 over two days there when I was still pretty new to hold'em. There are a lot of tourists and they play pretty loose. Don't make any complex moves, just play your cards and you should do well. Oh yeah make sure to call ahead. They've been very busy. | ||

| I played $4/$8 at the Hollywood in Shreveport once. The players were as bad as .25/.50 players online. Guys were playing any ace, 96s, Kxs etc etc. The games were also pretty passive (very few preflop raises). Unfortunatley for me I was very very early in my playing career. I knew what starting hands to play but didnt know much about position and played too timidly so I lost about $100 in 5 hours. I moved over to the Stud tables and won $350 so I went home happy. | ||
