Does anyone try to maintain a nice percentage between your stack and where the blinds are?

It would always be nice to have 100x the blinds, but if you're sitting there looking things over, at what point do you decide to make a move (thinking you're getting low)

Is this clear AT ALL?

RISKY, WRONGLY PLAYING.. PLAY YOUR HANDS WITH THE CARDS AND NOT WHERE YOU ARE IN COMPARISON TO BLIND POSITION. IF YOU ARE NEARLY BROKE THAN TAKE A CAREFUL LOOK AT OTHERS WHO ARE ALMOST OUT AS TO WHERE THE BLINDS ARE. LJH

Risky-

Depending on the level of the tournament, I'm gonna want between 6 and 10 times the big blind before I start making desperation plays.

For example, early on, when the big blind is below 100, I will want at least 500-600 before thinking about all-in moves with aces, etc.

Later on in crunch time, when antes start to come in on top of the blinds, then I up my stack size requirements. So, let's say the ante is 50 and the BB is 1000, I would want somewhere between 8000 and 10000 before I start thinking about those all-ins.
