| I was just wondering if anyone here knows of anyone that has actually died at the table. I know the poker table can be a stressfull situation. Maybe a little too stressfull for someone with a prexisting heart condition. I know its had to have happened at least once. Anyone got any stories?? | ||

| That "dude" was none other than Wild Bill Hickok. As the legend goes, Wild Bill was shot in the back while playing poker in Saloon No. 10 in Deadwood, South Dakota. He was holding two pair, Aces and Eights. | ||

| Well, the obvious question here is, what happens when the suddenly deceased is involved in a pot when his time comes? Ol' Redwood Jake is deciding whether to call a bet on the turn with his top pair and falls out of his chair dead. Is he assumed to have folded and the others involved in the pot continue to play while the EMT's dodge them to perform CPR? If there's only one other player in the pot, does he just go ahead and take the chips and say "Good laydown."? | ||

| Hmmmm. I think he would be considered "disconnected" or "timed out" thus should be "all in". However, it should be noted that you'll probably only be granted 1 "all-in" protection with death, check your casino's rules before "croaking" ; ) ; ) | ||
