| I have decided to leap into the real money games, and because I want to start small, Pokerstars seems to have the best tables for Limit Hold 'em (pennies, nickels, quarters, all the way up). I tried searching for a link to Deposit Bonuses, with no luck. Does anyone know what bonuses there are, and what the playing requirements are to get them? Thanks. | ||

| FIGURES! A day late and a dollar short. Why don't PokerParty have micro-limit real money tables? If I really stink at real money online games, my $100 isn't going to last too long at a $1/$2 table, is it? The other one I tried was UltimateBet, which is cool... but I heard there are some real sharks there that could salivate when I sit down to the table. Should I just go ahead and join Pokerstars even though I can't get a bonus at this time? | ||

| i play at Pstars myself and currently play alot of .25/.50 and have been playing it with a bankroll under $100 at times (although ill admit i play mostly stud at this limit) i would suggest joining Pstars and playing some .05/.10 *bankroll more than covered* then after a bit and learning whats up and such and if comfortable moving upto the .25/.50 win some there get comfortable then move upto .50/1 and so on, there is no rush, be comfortable playing online and having fun, learn yours and others weaknesses, work on correcting your weaknesses, correcting problems at lower limits is much better than trying to do so at higher limits *game situations change as you get to higher limits but making sure you have the sound fundamentals down before you get there is a good plan* Rule #1 of Poker Circumstances alter cases Rule #2 NEVER forget rule #1 | ||

| Thanks, Mark, I appreciate the advice. The compulsive gambler and cheapskate in me decided to open an account at PokerParty because they could offer me a bonus. So I tried a .50/$1 game last night and I cleaned up! Netted $20.75 in less than two hours of play. I ended up sitting to the left of a maniac raiser, which seemed to work out well. I realize that this could be beginner's luck, so I'm not thinking about higher stakes at this point. (I'll note that the first time I ever played craps, I made out like a bandit as well, . . . then reality hits). | ||

| I've played some micro limit at Stars. I've found them to be not much looser than the 1/2 or 2/4 tables. You'd think that it would be, but it's not. Although I do find myself seeing a lot more flops than normal, I still get out after that if I have nothing. Even $.25/.50 is more realistic than play money | ||
