| <<<<Would really appreciate if some one can explain in points and give complete answer to all the points in the question ....Thx! >>>> What would be the fate of chips left by a player participating in tournament after sudden disconnection by him? ============= Assumed Pool Amt is 200$ per player Player who is not able to turn back to table on time after disconnection, won't be allowed to rejoin. If a player X playing in a poker tournament with remaining amt-in-hand 100$ gets disconnected and is not able to turn back to the table to play further, how poker house would handle that amount left by him behind. -1- Should house keep him on table virtually and deduct blinds from his chips-in-hand on turn ( limitations is that he has a chance to be winner (considering his blinds as All In amount) unless he loss all his chips) -2- Should house put all his chips-in-hand in current/next pot during current/next game -3- These chips can assumed as dead amount and can no more be used in game -4- or What else? | ||

| IVE ALREADY ANSWERED THIS THREE TIMES-THE DISCONNECTED PLAYER IS LEFT ON THE TABLE- "VIRTUALLY" AS YOU SAY- AND PUT INTO AUTO-FOLD MODE UNTIL HE RETURNS. HE POSTS HIS BLINDS UNTIL HE IS BLINDED OUT. YES IT IS POSSIBLE TO SNEAK INTO THE MONEY THIS WAY- I ONCE GOT THIRD IN A 10 PERSON SNG AFTER LEAVING FOR DINNER DURING THE THIRD LEVEL WITH * PLAYERS REMAINING. NOW TRY ACTUALLY READING THIS RESPONSE INSTEAD OF STARTING A NEW THREAD! | ||

| So it means it different than the normal games , I mean in non tournament we do all in or fold we dont give player an option to come in any time , if he disconnects then his amout is taken as auto-all-in and if his all-in limit for the day is over then he is folded .... right ??? But in Tourney we just let him come any time till he has the chips on the table right ??? Thx on 17. | I have a feeling that your trying to figure out how can you use a disconnection to your advantage.... I could be wrong, but I think not. Why dont you just ask : If I am in the middle of a big pot and I have 2nd pair and I do not really want to commit any more money to the pot, if I disconnect my cable modem will I get all in protection? | ||
