I find it very puzzling that he merely doubled your bet, I might have pushed another 1,000 or 1,500, you certainly dont want to give him a free-card if he has a str8 draw. Your just a victim of an unfortunate flop.

If he merely calls your re-raise It would be hard for me not to push all in on the turn, if he re-raises you all in on the flop, you might want to give him credit for either K 10, K 9, QJ.... possibly a set.

You say "we see a flop". But what are the details? What are the blinds, who's in what positon, who raised and who called? Maybe you could have got away from it preflop. Having said that, it's tough to get away from two pair short handed. With the other short stack, you may have been more conservative and just called him down, but chances are he sets you all-in at some point.

Tough hand to get away from, that is for sure.

with three left and one guy on a real short stack I would have looked for ever reason to muck this hand preflop.
