| Grant is right that a lot of players online will call a bet at the end with 1 pair here. There reasoning is that they may put you on AK/AQ, or they do not put you on any hand but call because they have a pair. This situation is a perfect example for the need to keep notes online and mental notes at b/m. Firstly, I want to know if he will call with 1 pair on this board. If I have determined he will, then I want to know what hands he may check that have me beat. Finally, I want to know what he will checkraise me with and what that means so I know my course of action to the checkraise before he does it. So this answer just like most answers ends up to it depends and I have tried to indicate just a few of the parameters you should consider in determining if the play is a profitable one in that particular instance. | ||
