| Online Poker/Winning etc... Does winning consistently on play money sites at all the major sites translate to the same for real money... Considering into account the average pot at tables .5-1.0 to 5 - 10 how much is the winning player really winning online... Top 5 sites to play overall... Win Rate, best time to play, international players (non-us) etc... etc... Anyone interested in sharing interesting/statistical info regarding these topics emailme (orgasmguru@yahoo.com) or continue this thread right here... | ||

| Playing poker without money is like playing football without contact. Playing with fake money and winning is not an indication of how you will do when you play for real. However, it does have learning value as does playing football with out contact. on 15. I would not use your play financial success as any indication of how much you would win playing for real money. Play games are way too loose. They are meant to teach you about the basics of the game. > Considering into account the average pot at tables .5-1.0 to 5 - 10 how much is > the winning player really winning online... The actual pot size is inflated for play games because it is looser. > Top 5 sites to play overall... > Win Rate, best time to play, international players (non-us) Planet Poker offers great variety if you like to try out different games like Draw. Ultimate Bet allows you to play on MiniView which is an excellent feature if you enjoy playing 3 games at once. Pacific Poker always you to play with out downloading the software which is good for playing from computers with built in firewalls. Party Poker is alway pretty busy, so you can always find a game. Empire Poker is basically a mirror of Part Poker. Try out many different sites. I play at 9 different sites. This helps keeps your online game sharp and spreads you out enough so it is difficult for others to make notes about your play. I'm Canadian, but I don't know what you are asking in regards to international... > etc... etc... > Anyone interested in sharing interesting/statistical info regarding these > topics emailme (orgasmguru@yahoo.com) or continue this thread right here... > > | ||

| One word answer, no. Play money games are not truely poker, as poker is a game played with a risk of loss to the player. I would recommend some good poker software if you wanna practice for real money. | ||

| So, play money online is not an indication of real results. What about casino software such as hoyle? I have a WSOP software game that I tend to do farily well with. Real money online at UB is close. Also, rebuy satellites are piss'in me off lately. Are people always that loose when rebuys are available? | ||

| I am a sucker for details (small & large), varied opinions, experiences esp for online... small mistakes add up online because of speed etc The more we know adds up in our real time database of knowledge when we play... I believe online poker is the future... But there's lot of things that will change in the next few years....... international ---> I have lived in the US, UK, Asia.... wondering how everyone fares regionally.... thanks, Jack...... | ||
