| Hi all, it's been a few months since I posted on here. Since then I've been able to hook several friends and family members on poker. I would like to pick up a christmas gift for them if anybody has any ideas. My brother is turning his den into a poker room- any ideas as to what should go in one (my gift to him)? Anything else would be helpful. I just can't come up with anything besides a book but I want to get him something poker related. Thanks!! | ||

| I would strongly suggest a poker table. I picked up the standard, foldable felt table with plastic cup and chip trays, and a carrying case at a Bed, Bath and Beyond for $50. I have seen the exact same table selling online for around $75. If you are looking for a smaller gift, last year for Christmas my poker buddy got all of his friends personalized leather card cases, although I have no idea where he got them. And as a last resort you really couldn't go wrong with a book. | ||

| Hi - The suggestions you received from Brian Starr are excellent choices! The only other thing that comes to mind would be a framed picture/photo that is poker related, like something from the Ol' West (?). Good luck :-) 4P- | ||

| they can run a little expensive, but once you've used clay chips you'll never go back to plastic.. Maybe a family gift to share? Can they all go to your brother's house to play? | ||

| I gave a money clip that holds a poker chip for a gift once. It's pretty cool and cheap....I found them online for about $10 and put a $25 chip in it before I gave it. Guinnessman | ||

| We actually have a combined chip set (each our own and big games we combine them) of the 11.5 gram "suited" chips that we all use. I was thinking of a table and I think that might be a good idea. I was looking for some things to put in his poker room- like some pictures and stuff. Thanks again for all of the ideas and maybe somebody else got a lucky idea to finish their shopping too! | ||
