Well, i want to take and > back Thanks Yes, there is an excellent book called "Freely on Cards", by I.P. "Ace" Freely, which has what you want. Ask your school librarian tomorrow for any books by this author, you won't be disappointed. Happy Reading! | ||

| Are you kidding? If this person actually cheated you, he was not a "friend." Now you ask a poker forum to help you learn how to cheat? You've come to the wrong place. If you only lost $45 bucks, consider yourself lucky that the lesson came so cheap. Move on. Go ahead and learn all you want about cheating to protect yourself, but don't become a criminal like your "friend." PA | ||

| I could not agree more - a friend does NOT cheat another friend. nempo, I second what Pale Ale has said in its entirety. Learn from your experience and be aware. Learning how to cheat just because you were cheated will not justify it. 4P- on 14. Dec 2003 18:02 Pale Ale wrote: > Are you kidding? If this person actually cheated you, he was not a "friend." | Grrrr.....this subject really angers me, because a friend in my high school game cheated us for a few months before we realized it. We confronted him, but it was an ugly scene, and I didn't talk to him for quite awhile. However, time heals wounds, and we eventually became friends again, and even enjoyed a couple friendly games of poker. Whatever you do, don't resort to his tactics, if you want to confront him you can, but it won't be pretty. I suggest you simply stop playing with him. | ||

| Well, I would not recommend cheating as a way to get your money back. It is a lesson that you have learned. How to learn from this lesson: Expert At The Card Table. It is an old book written by a phony author that went by the name of S.W. Erdase. It goes over in great detail how to manipulate a deck of cards. I bought it about 6 years ago and still study it to this day. I run a lot of home games so I use it's knowledge to catch cheating (and it does happen). However, I do not use in my poker game. Cheating is so bad for poker. Hold'em is recently getting this huge popularity boost in North America and I couldn't be more happy. But people who start cheeting at home games really ruin the sport and turn a lot of people off. If you want to stop your friend from cheating I can share a story that worked for me. I once noticed my friend base dealing. It was at a 5-seated home game. So, for my next 3 deals I dealt him QUAD Aces. (His 2 hole cards and 2 on the flop). He played them the first time, but folded them the next two time. Nothing was ever really said after this, he just stopped cheating and he still plays sometimes. I don't know if this was the best thing to do, but it worked for me. | ||
