| Hi e1. I'm going to Vegas soon and hope to play in some tourneys. Looking at tourney schedules, I see some notations that a tourney is a "Shootout"--what does that mean? Others say "Bounties"--does that mean you get extra chips for knocking someone out of the tourney? Also, what is a reasonable % of the entry fees for the casino to take as juice? Anything else I need to know and/or ask about before entering a tourney? Thanks! | ||

| Hello blister, I believe a shootout or freezeout means that there are no rebuys once you lose your original chips your out and a bounty is a small amount( usually 3 to 5 dollars) for knocking someone out. | ||

| Also they usually take 10 to 20 percent as juice and there is usually a sheet that tells you everything you would need to know about how the tourny is operated.If you happen to come in the top 3 you wont be worried about the juice.Good luck to you! | ||
