| I've dealt with the good and bad runs that occur during a game of poker. What I'm thinking now is the bad runs pretty much just happen to good, tight players. I know everyone has a story where the luck didn't go there way, I know I do. Usually, these stories involve holding A Q on or off suit, pocket aces, etc. You will never hear about someone complaining that their 2 7 offsuit got cracked by aces and queens. After all, what business do they have playing that trash in the first place? The funniest one I heard about that was when someone complained to me once about having A 2, pairing up, and losing to A 9 suited when it hit a 9 on the river. Sure, it sucks losing to a river card, but that's stretching it. At least we have the knowledge that when we do beat these chasers, the pot will justify our play. | ||
