Women's Night WPT Question, Dr_Monkey, 11. Dec 2003 06:13 | ||

| I watched the WPT Women's night last night and think I found a mistake. 3 players were left. Annie Duke had K6 or something similiar. She raised to 150,000. Next player folded. Then Evelyn thought about calling. The blinds were 25k/50k and she in the BB. So it was 100k to call. She had A3s. She says, "I call." then pushed her whole stake in which was 141,000. If she called, she should have bet 100k and had 41k left. Technically, isn't this correct? Her words trump her actions. But the reality is, she probably would have bet her last 41k regardless what hit the flop since she SHOULD only have 41k left. | ||

| Actually, I think Evelyn came back over the top and moved all in. Annie was pot commited at that point and called. | ||

| I thought the exact same thing. She said "call" and then went all-in and it seemed like Annie just went along with it. They didn't say anything about it. | ||
