I just bought some new clay chips online. They are great, but are hard to do tricks with because the edges are so sharp.

A friend said to run them in the dryer for a couple of minutes to round them out. Is this good advice or am I going to ruin my investment? Is there an alternative to ths?

Thanks,
Erik

Prepare for some outside the box thinking...

How bout if you run just one chip in the dryer as a test?

Good times,

My understanding is that heat will damage the clay composition. Let us know what happens.

... and if you took the Good Doctor's suggestion!

Where's the "FUN" in that? LIVE ON THE EDGE!!!! Dump the whole box in the dryer and climb inside to watch them tumble. You'll need your friend to start the dryer for you of course.

They should just wear round over time if they get a lot of use.

Here's what I did.

I put them in my back pack and shook them around for a while. It worked pretty good.

Thanks for the input.\
