I play 20/40 hold'em at Planet Poker and have played at this site for years. Cash-outs are processed promptly and their live (telephone & IM) customer service is responsive and always eager to help/answer questions. It's a great site!

My question is - with the cash -out problems I've read about in this forum on other sites and over-crowding (right now 75 players waiting to play 30/60 at Party Poker), why don't more high-limit players play at Planet Poker? Am I missing something?

Probably because the players in the 30/60 games are no better than the 3/6 games :-)

Has nothing to do with ability. Why don't more high-limit players play at Planet Poker when they have such a long history of integrity and also have open seating in games where players are waiting 75 deep on another site?

the other sites are known for fish, one assumes that PP has a lower ratio and playing with the fish is the objective not playing with people who know what they are doing or are trying to learn correctly

Rule #1 of Poker
Circumstances alter cases
Rule #2 NEVER forget rule #1

I agree, Planet Poker is great. I like to play $10-$20 and there just is not a game often enough. At UB there is almost always a $10-$20 game. I guess the downside is that I do not actually get to keep the money ;-(

I joined Planet a couple of weeks ago to enter the bounty tournaments and play against Roy and Mike. I put in $200 and got a bonus and have made a little money on it. I went to cash out some (the original $200 so I play with profit) and it says I am not eligible for a cashout for another two weeks??? I don't need the money, it's just a way I manage my bankroll online by playing with profit. Is this just because of the $50 bonus or do they limit cashouts to 1 per month? I could not find any info on the website about limiting cashouts. It just makes me nervous when sites limit cashouts...I can see charging for the second one in a month or something to limit them but to not allow a withdrawal seems exstreme.

I don't know the cash-out rules for new players and bonus deposits - however I can tell you since they opened (they were the 1st on-line site) I have never had any trouble cashing out. I'm sure their customer service will be able to help you. Here is the information:

Thanks. If I need the $$ in the next two weeks I will call them. I have only played two weeks there, and like the site. I am looking forward to the new interface. I just thought it was kind of weird to have a restriction on cashing out.

15-30 is above my bankroll right now, but hopefully I'll run into you in a year or two.....

Thanks,
Guinnessman
