| The following is a hand that reminds us all that its not only the suckers and morons who get lucky or suck out, and that we sometimes do it, WITHOUT misplaying the hand. party poker 50 NL SNG. I've got about 1150 in chips at level 4 and find AKo in late positoin, UTG makes it 150 and i call wanting to see a flop. Its heads up and flop comes AAJ, boo yah! He checks and i check. Turn comes 4, ok i'll wait for him, only a matter of time. He checks i check. River comes K (!!!) and he bets out 150, i rasei it to 350 and he thinks a while and reriases to 700, so i go over the top for his last 290. He thinks a looooong time, and types 'i don't have the nuts' to which i respond 'neither do i' he then calls and turns over AJ! hahaha i got myself a grade A suckout without totally screwing up the hand. Just thought you guys might get a kick out of that, GL. | ||

| Pretty funny....you didn't have the nuts but you knew you had the best possible hand. Your A prevented him from having AA and the nuts.....his A did the same for you. Guinnessman | ||

| THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! hahaha I always get corrected when I say I have the nuts on a board similar to that, no its not the best possible hand, but if you have AK , NOTHING CAN BEAT YOU, thus you have the nuts Highflyin3484k (the now 19 yrold poker prodigy) | ||

| how come you said you didnt have the nuts ? AAJ4K he coulnt have AA and KK wasn't the nuts either so I don't see any best hand that AK | ||
