When the big blind gets knocked out of the table what happens with the blinds. Who takes the small blind because it would have been the eliminated player, or do you play without one?
Thanks

In this case there would be no small blind on the next hand.

Depends on the game.

If it is tournament structure, there is normally no small blind.

If it is a cash game, normally (depending on the house) the button is "must move" and the blinds must be adjusted to keep up, so there would be two big blinds on the next hand, then the hand after would have a small blind on the button plus a regular small blind and big blind, then everything would be back to normal after that.

The reason for this is usually done has to do with the rake and jackpot drop (if the house has one). This method ensures that there will always be both blinds in every hand, and the highest probable rake.
