| so i know it might not be a large enough sample size, but I've been tryin to keep track of my stats from SnGs at Party Poker. Here's what I got so far (all of them are 10+1): Total Tourneys: 40 1st Places: 3 2nd Places: 9 3rd Places: 6 Other: 22 So that Puts my profit at 100 bucks after 40 tournaments. Is this good or bad? Obviously, I'd like to have a few more first places, that's killin me, but I feel good about being in the money almost half the time. | ||

| not that there is a huge sample size there but I think you might want to work on your heads up game a little to try to increase your winnings. | ||

| I think your stats are definately solid, especially after only 40 tournaments. If you're playing at the $30 level, that's $300 profit, and if playing for most of the day, you can do 40 in about 3 days. $100 profit a day is pretty solid. Granted you don't have many firsts, so perhaps you should work on your game shorthanded..... but your low % of 1st's compared to cashes could be a result of one of two other factors: 1) luck- the sample size isn't that large and this kind of results is well within a normal deviation of places. 2) You may be playing to just cash, instead of playing for first (which often means taking more risks) There is nothing WRONG with just playing to cash, and it could even overall be more profitable. So you may be entering 3 handed play consistently as a shorter stack than your opponents, by taking fewer risks and assuring cashes. | ||
