There are 13 combinations of 4 of a kind with 48 other possible cards as the 5th card. Add that permutation and it's not even close. | ||

| That's the easy answer. however, a 4 of a kind beats every other lower 4 of a kind REGARDLESS of the 5th card. regards. | ||

| BTW the number of combinations is 624 (including the odd 5th card). | ||
