| Typical 4-8 holdem game. Utg raises next guy reraises you are next with AK offsuite. What do you do considering both of the other players are tight aggressive. I think I would fold here. Chances are the two other players have some of the cards I would need to improve on the flop. Out of us three I would imagine I would be the one who needs to improve the most. Its also possible others may join in the fun with suited connectors and other draws figuring it will be a monster pot. I wouldn't be liking my AK in what would probably end up being a capped multiway pot. What would you do? | ||

| I agree because the texture of the players is tight aggressive it is likely that either one of them has AA, KK or AK all of which cripple your hand. If a player will raise with Tens or better or AK and you hold AK the are EACH 14-18 to hold one of those three hands. Life is Good :-) Roy Cooke on 3. | in your typical 4-8 game, what are the blinds? in most of the local casinos here in las vegas, we play with 1 and 2 blinds, which, as you can see, are only half what would be normal. That is, in a $40-$80 game, the blinds are typically $20 and $40. in your example, not knowing the players, i would side with you and prefer folding. after all, you really have nothing at the moment, and i usually give some respect to an UTG raiser, not to mention the next player's re-raise. i realize that in big-bet poker, the pros would re-raise, with the objective to eliminate all the others who might straggle in and to "find out where you are at." but, in low-limit, i would fold. kennycatkiller | ||
