| I hear people complaining that they don't think that Party is random. Well lets look at starting hands... I have a history of 29,637 starting hands Of those I had 1,724 pocket pairs. I would have expected 1,743... 3 outs to hit a pocket pair on the 2nd card 3/51 * 29,637=1,743 1743-1724 so I got 19 less than expected which is 1% less than expected. I got suited cards 7,007 times. 12 outs on 2nd card... 12/51 * 29,637 = 6973 so I got suited cards 33 times more than I expected which is about 0.04% off of what is expected. So the first 2 cards look pretty random to me | ||

| I can also confirm that my starting cards are in line with probability. There are many other ways to manipulate the randomness of the game, however. So this probably won't satisfy the conspiracy theorists. For the record I don't believe party is rigged. | ||

| Thanks for that post Palinya..interesting to see the figures. How you you guys do your record keeping? I just keep win/loss and times...but as I get more serious I'd like to have more data to review. | ||

| Can you post the number of flush draws that come on the flop, and how many flushes (win or lose) actually come thru? That is probably the one hand that people most suspect is rigged on Party. Jim | ||
