Various people have- Abdul, DS, Hutchinson, others. I think Gary Carson sort of did it as well, though he doesn't think much of the hand group concept from what I remember.

Online, Abdul and Ed Hutchinson's stuff should be available. Don't ask me where it is (RGP might have a post with a link)

I know that Sklansky's Tier 1 hands are AA, KK, QQ, JJ, and AKs, but after that, I don't remember.

Go immediately to www.holdem-strategy.com/startinghands/htm. The eight groups of Sklansky and Malmuth mare given there. Kelly Stanonik has egrouped these for early, middle and late positions. I have taken this set of starting hands and Ken Warren's starting hand set and put these into tables where the starting hands are in vertical columns. These tables show the computation of the potential for action (PFA) for these two starting hand sets. These are can be used as look-up tables for starting hands as a function of table position for hands in these catagories: pairs, suited and mixed-suits.

Tables showing recommended starting hands and the computation of the PFA's
for seven stud, seven card stud 435 and lowball are finally done and are available for personal use.

Send your e-mail address to 74563.30@compuserve.com, and I'll send you copies
pronto.
