| I am still learning the game and trying to handle my emotions at the table (online or otherwise). I am getting fairly used to bad beats and getting drawn out on by junk. I still get a bit steamed, but I attempt to calm myself and focus on the next hand. However, last night the wife and I had a.....disagreement. I decided to sit and relax at the PC for a few hands. Well, after getting decent cards that never paid and staying in hands longer than I should, I was down the $30.00 I had bought in at the .50/1.00 Hold 'Em tables after only 45 mins. or an hour. Luckily, I got up and went to bed. Moral: Don't look for sympathy and/or consolation at the card table. It ain't comin'. | ||
