| Hey gang, I think thisd falls under the "Views" part of this catagory. If not Sorry. I'm playing at the Lucky Chances south of San Fran tonight. Has anyone ever played there? What are the limits they spread? How are the games? I'm a Hold 'em player. Thanks in advance. John | ||

| NICE CLUB, VERY GOOD FOOD (ESPECIALLY IF YOU LOVE FILIPINO FOOD, AS DOES ADAM THE EXPERT) THIS CLUB IS LOCATED IN A CITY, THAT IS LARGELY POPULATED BY WELL-TO-DO FILIPINOS, SO YOU CAN COUNT ON SOME EXCELLENT FOOD. THIS CLUB, SPREADS ONE OF THE BEST, AND BIGGEST NO LIMIT GAMES, IN THE WORLD. IT'S THREE NIGHTS A WEEK, 10-20 BLIND, WITH A 1000 BUY IN. BUT, MOST PEOPLE HAVE 5 TO 10 GRAND. THEY HAVE YOUR NORMAL TYPE GAMES, TOO SMALL LIMIT, 20-40 THINGS LIKE THAT. | The games tend to be very loose aggressive, at least the few times I've been there. Profitable and entertaining. The tournaments are good too. | ||

| Thanks for the tips. While the NL game is outside my bank roll I did get to play some 3/6 and 6/12. Both games were profitable and even a bit tight at times. Caught a few bad beats early but by the end of the night I was up over 8 big bets in 3 hours. Didn't get to eat though. Thanks again. | ||

| Tight, that's weird. The games were crazy when I played there, but maybe that's just on the weekends. | ||

| I thought so too. From what I've heard CA. Card rooms are crazy at lower limits. Saw little out of the ordinary for lower limits. I'm up in the end so it was a good trip. Had a lot of loose calling to my raises and reraises whenm I had made hands and one hand where I misread the board, thinking I had a straight I cost myself a number of big bets. In a year of playing poker thats the first time I made that mistake. Oh well I learned from it and everyone at the table, myself included had a good laugh. | ||
