Cashing out from PartyPoker, Keffo, 1. Dec 2003 16:14

| Hi! I have deposited a total of 400$. I recently cashed out the same amount. It went back to my VISA card, just like I wanted. But their agent told me then I cannot have any more money transfered back to my VISA. IS this correct? If so, why? I live in Sweden. I do not want to pay any charge for getting my money back, and I not sure wheter foreign checks are valid in Sweden. What method for cashing out what you recommend? And is there any site that agrees to just get the money back to the VISA, like one would excpect them to? Regards, Keffo | ||

| You can only cashout through your visa the amount you deposit through your visa. Check to see if neteller (www.neteller.com) does business in your currency, I believe it may. If so I would recommend setting up a neteller account. However if the check is in dollars I would imagine it shouldn't be too difficult to get the money in your country. | ||

My VISA is not a credit card but a debit card linked to my banking account. A wild guess is that VISA fronts the money when you/ I make a deposit and settle the debt with your bank later on. <--- I have no idea what I was trying to say here!! > I live in Sweden. I do not want to pay any charge for getting my money back, and I not sure whether foreign checks are valid in Sweden. I live in Norway, and I don't think there would be any problems with cashing a check here. However, my guess is that the bank would charge an outrageous fee for cashing a check in foreign currency. At least here in Norway. I believe that you have much lower fees in Sweden. No fee for the use of ATM/bankomat? That's why I use a Swedish bank -Skandiabanken. 150 NOK/year and no additional charge for use of VISA. > What method for cashing out what you recommend? Same with Pokerstars, Ladbrokes and Paradise Poker. Just read the FAQ at Paradise Poker: --------------------------------------------------- 5.12 I am a European player and I recently cashed out, but I do not know where my funds were directed. We have recently started a new program for payouts going to players from select European countries. If a player from one of the countries below uses a Visa to make a purchase in Paradise, we are now able to credit back to that Visa OVER AND ABOVE the original purchase transaction. United Kingdom Sweden Norway Denmark Netherlands Germany France Austria Italy Finland Ireland Israel New Zealand Switzerland If paradise can do it, I can't see any reason why the other's can't.

| Well, as some of the replies have told you Party and many others will only cash out the same amounts as you have deposit earlier on the VISA, so all winnings have to be withdrawn in a diffrent way. Check is ok in sweden, they will cost about 100 SEK to clear at your local bank. Sites that you can use and have withdraw option back to your Visa or bank account, even winnings, would be Ladbrokes.com or Expekt.com. There you can withdraw all money to the VISA or similar creditcard. (at least that stands if you live in europe) both ladbrokes and expekt are decent sites, expekt.com is member of the prima network, check'em out ... it all depends on what limits and promotionals you like to take part of... | I live in Germany and made my cashouts from party by check. I got it within 1 week to 10 days and all banks take it, the charge is about 8€. cause off the actual $/€ exchange rate I prefer the 10% interest on party, wait for better times and spend my vacations in the caribbean. | ||
