Felicia,
Thank you for all your very entertaining posts. I really look forward to reading your many stories. In most of your posts you post in great detail about the players at your table and about key hands in the tournaments you play in. Obviously, you are a very solid player. I was wondering if you ever get outplayed! Some of your posts talk about how far you get in a tourney and the results of a few hands that either busts you or propells you to the final table. You also talk about all the "fish" you play with at the ring games. In almost all instances, youre losing hand is the result of a "fish" or "newbie" drawing out on you. Maybe I just missed it, but I cant recall a post where you posted a hand that you got outplayed on. Are you THAT good? Just curious, because I really enjoy the great details of your poker stories, but if youre gonna post the details accurately, I think you should also post the times when you did get outplayed. Or maybe Im just way off.

Wouldn't be able to tell you which one, but I recall one story that talked about sitting at a certain table 10/20 which she had been beating on a regular basis but the table dynamics had changed dramatically that day, and she didn't pick up on it until she was in the hole quite a bit. I believe she talked about making a small comeback but not breaking even.

This may have been the same story about a guy that she respected and made some good plays on her, she adjusted and he adjusted to her adjustments...

Sorry to be so vague, there's just so damn many of them...

=)

Oh, gawd! I wish I was that good! My, my...to be the Doyle Brunson of Laughlin. Dreams, dreams!

Yes, I get outplayed. See my posts on the 10/20 game, especially. No, I'm not "always" the best player at the table, but I do try to find tables where I will be among the best of the players. Why sit down at a table full of sharks? Then *I* will be the fish, lol.

As far as the tourneys at the Belle go, they are just easy. That is why I play them. There are tougher opponents over at the Riverside tourneys. They offer three NLHE tourneys per week. I don't play them because: 1) they take out juice (whereas the Belle doesn't). 2) they don't add money to the pool (the Belle adds $500 per tourney. 3) there are many tougher players.

Why would I bother, unless NLHE was the only game I could play?

I just got back today from a week in Vegas. When my "stories" are all caught up here, you will have thee distinct pleasure (LOL) of hearing about me getting outplayed all over town. Oh, what joy! I didn't make one red cent in Vegas (a little in cash games, zippo in tourneys).

Felicia :)

Btw, thanks for the compliment on my writing :)

And just as an aside FYI, it is VERY easy to outplay me. I am tight. I fold easily. Bluff as often as is correct (a la Sklansky), and you will see me fold way too much. Lots of astute locals win little pots off of me every day, because they know the correct bluffing frequency, and just how hard they can push me. Boy, do they have me down pat!
