| I'm heading for my first ever trip to AC in a few days, and heard that because of what happened last month the parking was all screwed up. Anyone been there recently and can help me out with the best (quickest) way to get parked at the Trop once I enter AC? Thanks. | ||

| Hi- What happened last month shouldn't effect the parking for you when you go there. That parking garage was a separate garage and it was not attached to the one that you will be using when you go. You can make the turn right by the Trop that says, 'Valet Parking and Self Park'. You have two choices - either valet your car or self park, and you shouldn't experience any difficulties. (Although I would always recommend valeting over self parking only because it is much, much safer, and you need to be aware of that). Valet parking will take you longer to get your car, but it's worth protecting yourself, and your valuables. If you plan on going on a weekend, then be prepared to wait to park, or to valet. It's been that way even before that tragedy occured. 4P- | ||

| Thanks. I read something about the North side or the South side or some side being closed since the collapse, thanks for setting me straight. We should be getting there noonish on a Wednesday, so I guess there shouldn't be that much of a wait. Oh, and what exactly did you mean by "much much safer". | ||

| Hi- The whole parking garage is open. If you're driving in just turn onto Morris Avenue (which is right at The Trop), and that will lead you to the self-parking garage. And when I said that valeting your car would be much, much safer......I was simply telling you that if you plan on self-parking, then be aware of your surroundings. Don't mean to scare you but you run the risk of being mugged when you park your car in a garage with minimal security. So forget the self-parking and forget I told you about it! (lol). I suggest you wait the extra amount of time that it's going to take the valet to retrieve your car, and go that route. Have fun, but be safe. 4P- | ||
