This obviously is not the case... because Say I raised to 60 (blinds 15/30) and someone re-raised me to 90, I could re-raise back to 120, correct? | ||

| First, which player are you? Second: You can only reraise if there is a bet you still have to call. Once all bets are called and the action returns to the last raiser (or bettor) the betting round ends. Simply, if I bet (or raise), unless there is another raise before the action reaches me, my bet (or raise) is called and the round ends. If I still have to act on an outstanding bet or raise, then I also get to raise as long as there is no betting cap. Dupree | ||

| Uhhh...maybe b/c u pushed the wrong button? I dont know, posting the hand history doesnt really say anything and it is somewhat annoying to read. I am pretty sure though that u just hit the wrong button, b/c the option to reraise is always there. | ||

| Ok..... I'm in mid position with AK (luckykid) I raise to 75 blinds 10/15. a player after me calls (K9s) and a 3rd player after him goes all in with his last 210 chips. I cannot re-raise his 210 bet to drive out the player with K9 who called after me, and he catches a 9 on the flop to beat me out (whereas I would have beaten the AQ who went all in) Something to do with not being able to raise because someone is all in.... and not being able to raise the other guy out of the pot. However if our situations were reversed, and he had already called the all in bet, I think I would be able to raise him there. This help any? | ||

| There should be no reason you could not have raised the 210 bet since there were players to act after you. (You could have went all-in if you wanted to, if no one called you would have just gotten your bet back.) Where were you playing? Did you not have the option to raise? | ||

| I did not have the option to raise. I've had this happen a few times before, but only rare. It happens on party and the ONLY options are call or fold. There's some special situation where you cannot raise on party, and I was trying to figure out if someone else knew of what this situation was, and why raising would not be allowed. When talking to someone about it at party someone mentioned something about an error in the programming of party, and if this was the case I'd like to put it to their attention. When I talked to the floorperson about it they were rather insistent that in a No Limit game, once you raise in a betting round , you cannot re-raise (even when someone else raises your raise, which I specifically pointed out to them and see all the time in games) I was getting so frustrated with their ineptitude that I just gave up (both floorpersons kept repeating that in a No Limit game you cannot re-raise if you have already raised) | ||

| Palman I occasionaly see this at pokerstars also. Its happened to me 3 or 4 times, and only in tournaments. Also, it only occurs in the scenario you described when there is 1 all in player and 1 other caller. Once when this happened, i called time (you can on pokerstars) and typed what was happening in the chat box. The other players seemed confused and didn't believe me. It must be some sort of bug as it shouldn't happen. Just as in your situation, my only choices were to call or fold. I didn't bring it to support's attention, but will next time it happens. I'll let you know if anything comes of it. Mark | ||
