| Anyone who can help. I need any information, insight, and actual Psychology terms that would apply to Poker, tells, betting, the psyche of a gambler, etc. Any websites or terms, or personal essays written whatever you think can help would be much appreciated. | Hey man. I had to write a synopsis of two psych articles for a psych class and I chose Alan Schoonmaker's Psych of Poker articles. He is very insightful, mostly Freudian in his thoughts too. | Hi, In attition to my friend Alan's excellent work (his book Psychology of Poker and his articles), there is a brilliant book called Poker Faces by David Hayano that covers this in great detail. It is out of print so it may take work (or money) to find one, but it is very worthwhile. Also, David Spanier wrote Inside the Gambling Mind (still available from Amazon), a wonderful work.
