I just finished 1320 in a NL tourney with about 1420 players.....and get this, I had doubled my stack prior to busting out on the 7th hand of the tourney.

I would post this in the bad beat section...but there were none. I just wanted to document this dismal exhibition of poker I just put on to remind myself to never do that again.

Anyone care to share their worst tourney finish?

Yeah, believe it or not, I busted out of a $100 NLHE tourney on UB about two months ago on the first hand. The guy that knocked me out knocked out another player on the same hand. Flopped the nut straight to beat our top two sets.

In a $500 tournament on PokerStars that I got myself all excited for I went out the 576th out of 584 players. I got AA right away, flopped a set and got put all in on the flop to someones flush draw. I guess you know what happened after that.....Needless to say, my worst tournament ever

Do I ever. I busted out this last Tuesday night at Hollywood Park when I went all in on a total bluff on the flop (with a decent stack, mind you) and the other guy called me with top set. I didn't quite read him correctly, to say the least.

If noone cares to point and laugh at me, I'll point and laugh at myself.

I've done worse. I was the first to go one tourney at UB when I was really really inexperienced. Anyway, I was holding pocket sixes and raised it 100 as if that scares anyone out of a pot when people hold 1000 in chips. I was promptly called with the flop coming Q-Q-6. I know I get flack for playing on intuition at times, but I kept seeing a queen in their pocket. I went all in thinking I was ahead in the hand and I would get called by this player who had trips. When we expose our cards, I was right about the queen but I didn't see the 6 in their hand! My full house got beat by a stronger one right then and there. Not a bad beat by any means, its more so a what the fuck beat. Well there's my story, I'm sure there is worse out there.
