| I promised Roy Cooke I'd post if I got out early in the bounty tournament tonight at Planet Poker. Made it to the $50/$100 level, but lost all $1,000 in starting chips and never won a single hand (except for the first one that didn't go beyond the flop and for which I earned $20). Held Q-Q, J-J, 10-10, A-K and other quality hands, so I can't complain about lack of opportunities. It was lots of fun and giggles. Maybe I'll start playing some small-limit games for 15 minutes now and then, even at real-world casinos, just for the sheer thrill of playing with friendly opponents at those stakes. I haven't done that for 30 years, and I miss it -- even if the amount of money is unimportant to me today. I'd forgotten my roots. Straight Flushes, Mike Caro | ||
