I'm at a 25 buyin Pot limit cash table. 1/2 the table is the same set of names I have seen every night I play, the other half I don't know.

I've parlayed my 10$ buyin (yeah yeah i know, i already dealt with that) up to $45. Cool. Getting ready for dinner, I play out the couple hands before my next BB would come. I should have left early.

I am dealt Qc As Jc Td

a high only hand, but can pay well, if played well. Limp in, (dont yell at me for that, the other guy would have called a raise here anyway I am sure) - 6 way flop.

Flop board: Kc Jh Ah

Nut straight - flush draw is out there - anyone with AK hoping to make a boat too - gotta make em pay to see it....

I make a pot sized bet - all fold, my nemesis calls (we've been beating each other for huge hands three nights running now)

turn- 4c

Hm, no help - though if he has a low, this is one step closer. also, make a 2nd best flush draw for me, still have the nuts though.

He checks - I bet pot - $4.80 - he calls.

River - Js ---- Hey cool, I improved to JJJAA - boat, with no low on board.

He bets the pot here $14.40.

Without even thinking about it, my greed gun fires, and I raise all in. What's the worst that can happen? We tie with AJ? He has KJ and I take it down.

He calls - and of course, shows KK for a better boat. And of course, King high heart flush draw, remember the ace is on board.

I made a fatal karmic mistake on the flop in the chat - I goaded. I said "come on heart draws, call it" - like some kind of drunken ass, I became the table jerk. I'd have called me too with nut draw and trips.

So, my series of mistakes....

not raising a hand I thought worth playing for high only
trash talk at the table (not abusive, just cocky)
Not stopping to think when he bet pot - I mean it was autmoatic re-raise. Had I thought about it, with the boat I would have just called, takem myloss, but retained $26 of my stack, and still be well up for the session.

I left the table, calmed down and immediately filed it under the category of stupid stuff yuo have to do early on to learn a lesson. Hopefully it will save me more in the futrue than it cost me to learn it. Kind of like when I hit the windshield of my car with no seat belt - makes me wear it all the time now, so if I'm in something worse, I'm ready.

any comments on the play? Did I find my mistakes? Can I even call it a bad beat? Was it worth it for him to draw with pot bets?
