I came accross a type of player I had never seen before in stud: The supermaniacs. These are people that will cap with anything. I can handle one or two of these players no problem but what should one do if 4 or 5 players are capping EVERY street, from 3rd to seventh, making it real expensive to grab even one more card. I'm thinking I should get out of their way and just let them kill each other, though what usually happens is they all get lucky at different times to stay in the game. If anyone has insight into what to do, or you just want to make yourself known on an internet poker forum, write in.

just tighten up and stay out of their way *and bluffing probably goes out the window*
A-K's raise
3 flush
3 straight *god i dont like these probably not worth it*
pair with big overcard
great thing i have found about stud is you can quickly get out of a hand if your not ahead and if your ahead be in there raising

Rule #1 of Poker
Circumstances alter cases
Rule #2 NEVER forget rule #1

these are some of the most profitable stud games out there. especially if the opponents are just recklessly raising away.

the pots should be multi way so play more premium drawing hands
the more they attack on early betting rounds the more you should slow play big hands. The more reckless they are the more you should call and raise.

and remember you'll need some chips so bring em.

This is an extremely good game if you have the bankroll. Your swings will be big but if you catch a coupld of good hands you will make a fortune in no time and that won't happen in a regular game.

Play strong hands, and if it's a multi-way pot throw away medium pairs and even big pairs if they don't improve by fifth street and your oppoennts have improved to pairs on board or otherwise.
