| I was wondering since most people aren't very aggressive if it is worth calling with marginal or even poor hands from the SB in NL 100. I am talking about if no one raises. It costs $1 to see a flop with a possibly lucky tri[ps or strait with hands poor hands liek 3 6 or marginal hands like 9 10. Most people are loose passive so there are a lot of callers and no raisers. It is easy to lay the hand down when I see the flop and I don't improve greatly. Is it worth that dollar to gamble? I figure if I see with poor hands, I will improve to trips or better 1 in about 20 hands (purely guess, someone please correct if I am way off). That is $20. I also think that when I do, I can make more than $20 off that hand. Comments or ideas? | ||

| On the SB, i pay $1 for just about anything. At PP it just so happens that when I am on SB, the bet has almost always been raised at least a few bucks. Anytime I get to see a hand for a dollar, I will. You never know what trash might fall on the flop that you match up with your trash hole cards. Like you said, the one out of 20 times it does pay off, it will be more than $20 if you play it right. | ||
