Ultimate Bet, Pokerstars, and PartyPoker are the 3 biggest poker sites on the web right now... I've heard Pokerstars have the toughest games in terms of your opponents, but the best support and speed... I've heard PartyPoker has maniacs that outdraw on you every hand and the server isn't the best... And I'm not really sure about Ultimate Bet... Anyway... What site do you think is the toughest? And which ones are better with Tech Support and Server speed? I'm trying to figure out which one to deposit money on and Its hard to tell when your playing for play money... TY

I would deposit first at Party. They have the easiest requirements for releasing your bonus. Once you get your bonus released, withdraw your deposit and take it to UB or pokerstars. And repeat.

Poker is so much better when you are playing with someone else's money.

I play at Poker Stars and that is an accurate description. I was in a 1/2 HE the other day that had less than 1/2 the pots going to showdown.

The service and speed are great, but other than Pacific Poker, which blows, I haven't played another site. I play $5 Limit HE SNG's and they take less htan 15 min. to fill up, which is good.

I have played at both PokerStars and Party. The biggest problem I have at Party is getting into the SNG's. Their interface is so slow that they are playing the second hand and it will still say needing players. I have not finished in the money in the 4 I have played there. (When I can get in one)
They need a "put me in the first SNG at $X option"

At PokerStars I have finished in the money 4 out of 4 in SNG. I think this has alot to due with the number of starting chips, since I usually play tight at the start. But I find the players alot alike at both sites.

Haven't played UB yet but will be after this weekend. (Need to get use to them before the UPF Tourny).

I've played on Pacific Poker, and currently have accounts on Ultimate Bet and Party Poker. Pacific games were really really soft, but the software ran very slow and there were only 2 or 3 games of each limit running at once, so I gave it up. I've noticed that a game on party that might be a little tougher than average is about the usual on UB. You'll run across more familiar faces at UB. I play probably 80% of my poker on party, just because the games are just so soft. UB kill games can sometimes be pretty juicy if you find some players who don't have a clue how to adjust for a kill game. I've never played pokerstars, so I can't comment on them. I've never had a server issue on UB, and rarely on party poker, so I don't even consider that. The only downside of party is that their support is somewhat lacking, but the games being so soft makes party the place for me to play most of the time.

A ten person tournament, coined "sit 'n go" by ultimate bet. The tournament starts as soon as 10 people buy in and usually the top 3 get paid. There's also some sites that offer 18 player and 6 player tournaments with different payout structures.

I think you can only really consider Party as the place to play poker online.
The most important aspect of any site is in fact their advertising budget.
Party has the most fish, and its marketing power will insure that the aquirium will in fact stay well stocked.
I have tried poker stars but found its interface clunky in comparison to party also the tournies took a lot onger to fill than on Party.

OK, THE TOUGHEST SITE, BY FAR, IS PARIDISE POKER.

THIS HAS (SADLY) GRAVITATIED TO THE "ROCK PLAYERS"

SITE. PARTY POKER, IS RUN BY A BUNCH OF (EXPLITIVE

DELEATED) BUT, THEY HAVE A MASSIVE SELECTION OF

GAMES AND ACTION, AND HOPELESS LIVE ONES.

POKERSTARS, HAS SOME MAJOR LIVE ONES, BUT

USUALLY ONLY AT THE HIGHER LIMITS (30-60)

I'M HERE IN ALASKA, AND HAVE HAD ALMOST NO PROBLME

WITH THE PARTY POKER SERVER.

ULTIMATE BET IS OK, TOO.

AS FAR AS GIVE AWAYS, AND INTEGRITY, DON'T COUNT

OUT PLANET.

SURE, THE SOFTWARE IS FROM THE DARK AGES, BUT

THE KNOWLEDGE THAT IT'S RUN BY PEOPLE, WITH

THE HIGHEST INTEGRITY, COUNTS FOR A LOT

ALSO, I'VE SEEN SOME MAJOR MAJOR LIVE ONES THERE,

ESPECIALLY IN OMAHA, AND THE TOURNAMENTS.

THEY ARE THE ONLY MAJOR SITE, WITH A JACKPOT, AND

THE HAVE OTHER GIVE AWAYS, AND ARE A CLASS ACT.

SO YOU SEE, THERE REALLY ISN'T ANY ONE "BEST " SITE.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO PLAY, AND WHAT'S

IMPORTANT TO YOU.

A.T.E.
