What do you think of PHIL HELLMUTH'S play in regards to his recent article in card player, csi, 13. Nov 2003 20:00

I tried to paste some of the article here but it wouldnt post on the forum. Any way, have a read through his latest article at cardplayer.com

My questions are: 1 why call all the way and then fold on the river when there is no significant change in the board?
2. Why not dump the hand early if you figure Erik has a Better Ace?
3. I always thought that in NO LIMIT you don't want to be the caller so don't you think Phil should have raised Erik on the flop to see where he stands.
4. Why play A8 at all. Wait for a better hand. He had lots of chips.

It looks to me like Phil is going to an awful lot of trouble to induce Eric to carry his bluffs through to the river bets against him. lol

Because he's PHIL HELLMUTH, the GOD of POKER and you must lose to him! If you don't, you played it wrong! See his 32off against the magician on the WPT last season for confirmation of this "rule"
